Accepted abstract title

Computational evaluation of Mel4 and lactoferricin interactions with adenovirus and norovirus capsids.

Brief description of poster/talk

This research extended the PhD work of Dr Umme Urmi, focusing on the mechanism of action of antimicrobial peptides against non-enveloped viruses. Computational modelling indicated that the peptide AMP performed best, disrupting capsid structures that are critical for viral stability and assembly.

Reflection on conference experience

A great conference that addressed antimicrobial resistance comprehensively, spanning epidemiology, novel compounds, and therapeutic strategies. It was a very enjoyable experience, and Barcelona was an excellent host city.
